Bournemouth Rugby kicks off season with Pride of Lions launch at Key West

We launched our 2025/26 season in fine style this week with a Pride of Lions event at Key West on Bournemouth Pier. The event brought together players, sponsors, alumni, volunteers, and staff to mark the start of another exciting season for the club. 

The season launch, proudly sponsored by Straight Line Sales Group, was more than just a party and showcased what makes Bournemouth Rugby a true community club. Guests enjoyed great conversations, networking opportunities, and the chance to connect with fellow members of the Pride of Lions, the club’s dedicated business network supporting its growth. 

Attendees were encouraged to bring colleagues, suppliers, and clients to experience the unique spirit of Bournemouth Rugby first-hand. With players and inspirational speeches from all teams highlighting the pride, passion, and sense of togetherness that underpins everything they do. 

The evening didn’t stop at the pier. After the main event, the celebrations continued at the always stylish 1812 Lounge Bar & Restaurant, where guests carried on networking and toasting to the season ahead well into the night. 

The launch was a true celebration of rugby, community, and partnership that set the tone for what promises to be a thrilling season both on and off the field.
