New schools sign up for our community outreach programme

Bournemouth Rugby in partnership with Rippa Rugby is thrilled to announce that seven England Rugby-qualified coaches have just joined our community programme—three of whom are home-grown talents from our U17 Bournemouth Rugby Colts squad.

Please join us in congratulating Jack, Billy, Jamie, Shea, Oscar, Freddie and Johnny on earning their badges and stepping up to inspire the next generation. This milestone reflects ongoing commitment to children, our community, and the future of this fantastic sport.

That’s a wrap on another incredible year of schools coaching and this year is extra special as we celebrate 10 years of Rippa Rugby. In proud partnership with Bournemouth Rugby, we’re now delivering PE and after-school rugby in 20 schools across Dorset and Hampshire, reaching over 750 children every week.

Up to 80% of the children coached aren’t club players, but thanks to our schools-to-club pathway, we’ve already introduced 60 new players into grassroots rugby this season alone.

We’re thrilled to welcome the following new schools to our rugby family from September:

• St Luke’s CofE Primary School, Sway
• North Baddesley Primary School, Romsey
• Lytchett Matravers Primary School
