We are the proud Bournemouth Rugby Girls Under 18’s

In the last 4 years girls, rugby has gone from strength to strength, with this season seeing the path to senior rugby complete with our ambitious lady’s team. The girl’s pathway starts with the boys, mixed rugby progressing from tag rugby to contact. Once the Girls reach the Under 11’s age group they separate away from the boys into their own teams. Our under 18’s is the last youth group before our girls progress to the senior ladies.

We aim to make our coaching sessions the best sporting activity that the player will do all week. We will achieve this through making our training sessions fun first and foremost but challenging where each players is asked to develop strong core skills of rugby and personality within the team.

Our home ground is Chapel Gate, Bournemouth (near Bournemouth Airport). The club has extensive training facilities, a club house and ample parking.

We are part of a much wider rugby Dorset and Wilts RFU community so play contact fixtures home and away across Dorset and Wiltshire Counties, this is to develop the rugby family ethos and our great sport!

This year sees us enter the U18’s numerous games and festivals across the calendar from September 2021 through to May 2022.
