It is of great sadness to learn of the death of Arthur Bowden, Secretary to The Dorset RFU since 1966/1967. His contribution to the running and management of the Dorset & Wilts RFU was without parallel, all done with an unfailing good humour and courtesy.
He was undoubtedly a friend to all clubs in the Twin-Counties and his visits were always welcomed as he tirelessly supported all aspects of their successful functioning.
We at Bournemouth will miss you Arthur as all will do throughout Dorset & Wiltshire and we say a heartfelt ‘thank you’ as we bid you farewell.
