In August 2016, Bournemouth Rugby formally launched it girls programme. In doing so, the Club reaffirmed its commitment to growing and developing the women’s game.

Girls can be introduced to the game at any age from Under 6 all the way to adult rugby. Between under 6 and under 11’s girls play in mixed teams with the boys. From U12’s onwards the girls play in women’s and girls only teams.

Developing through minis, junior and teenage rugby, the option to play at a social or elite adult level is available through the Bournemouth Rugby Women and Girls teams.
