I wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone for your outstanding support at the annual Bournemouth Rugby Youth Festival last weekend. Your dedication, hard work, and commitment to making this event a success were truly inspiring.
I would like to give special thanks to our coaches and managers, who supported setting up and clearing away and ran their age groups to perfection. They ensured that each player and supporter enjoyed the Bournemouth Rugby Festival experience. Their dedication and hard work were crucial in creating a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone involved.
I would also like to express our gratitude to each parent that came and supported the setting up, running, and clearing up of the festival. Without your support, we would not be able to run the festival. Your unwavering commitment to your children and to the community is truly remarkable.
The biggest thank you has to go to the amazing players of Bournemouth Rugby who welcomed all the visiting teams, put their all into each and every game that they played, supported other teams, and displayed the TREDS values in abundance. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to your sport and your team were truly inspiring to see.
Special mentions go to Greg Pike, our Youth and Mini Chairman and Gemma Buchanan who spent countless hours working behind the scenes, including some very late nights and early mornings on emails and spreadsheets, to ensure that the festival was a success. Their leadership and dedication were instrumental in making this year’s festival a huge success.
I would also like to thank Simon Hortop, Janet McKrill and Sian Reid our Safeguarding Team, for their unwavering support throughout the entire weekend. Their commitment to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of everyone involved in the festival was truly remarkable. We’re sure Simon’s step count hit record numbers across the weekend from walking around the site and supporting the festival team and age groups.
Thanks to everyone’s tireless efforts, the festival ran smoothly, and everyone who attended had a fantastic time. We couldn’t have done it without your help, and we are incredibly grateful for your support. The unwavering commitment to the event and our community demonstrates the true spirit of Bournemouth Rugby. Once again, thank you for your invaluable contribution to this year’s festival. We look forward to the festival next season on the 13th and 14th April 2024!
