At Bournemouth Rugby, we are proud to partner with Rippa Rugby to bring the game of rugby to our community. This program exemplifies our commitment to engaging with schools, developing skills, and fostering a love for rugby that extends far beyond the field.

Through the Rippa Rugby Community Programme, students at schools are introduced to the sport in a structured, fun, and supportive environment. With over 600 young players attending regularly, our program has become an exciting weekly highlight for students, giving them the chance to develop core rugby skills, boost their physical fitness, and grow in confidence and teamwork.

Our coaches work with experienced Rippa Rugby trainers to deliver sessions that are tailored to the needs of each age group, ensuring that every participant gets the most from their time on the field. The sessions focus on the fundamentals, such as passing, tackling (in a controlled, safe environment), and strategy, while also integrating important values of sportsmanship, respect, and discipline. This collaborative coaching approach not only enhances the skills of our young players but also builds a supportive and inclusive rugby community.

By partnering with Rippa Rugby, Bournemouth Rugby aims to extend its reach to young players who may have limited access to sports or extracurricular activities.
