We are the proud Sammy’s Lion Cubs.
Our aim us to make the sessions rewarding and enjoyable. Our coaching is designed to develop RFU core values of teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline and sportsmanship.
Aim at pre-school girls and boys, it’s a great way for your child to get into rugby. Its also a good way to meet new friends and build confidence.
Our home ground is Chapel Gate, Bournemouth (near Bournemouth Airport). The club has extensive training facilities, a club house and ample parking. All new players are welcome, contact a member of the Coaching Team below Sunday at 10:05am jo.burns@bournemouth-rugby.co.uk

The coaching team for the Lion Cubs is led by Jo Burns who has vast experience at coaching rugby at all levels and ages of the game.
Training Details
The Sammy’s Lion Cubs train and play on Sunday mornings at Chapel Gate (BH23 6BD).
Players aged 2 – 3.5 years session 1 – 9:30am to 10:15am
Players aged 3.5 – 5 (or when they reach reception) session 2 – 10:30am to 11:15
Get Involved
We welcome Pre-school boys and girls from the age of 2. If you have any questions, please contact Jo Burns team manager at jo.burns@bournemouth-rugby.co.uk, who will be happy to talk things though.
Player membership
Sammy’s Lions Cubs is payable in six week blocks costing £30 for the block.
Interested sign up to our spond group club.spond.com/landing/signup/bournemouthrugby payment will be requested via the Spond app.
