What an incredible season it has been for our Rugby Club! We feel incredibly privileged to have such a fantastic community of people who make this club truly special.
We want to take a moment to recognise some extra special players who have received a well-deserved recognition at the recent youth and mini awards. These amazing individuals have shown dedication, passion, and immense talent on the field. You often go unrecognized, arriving early and leaving last and carrying the kit. To show our appreciation, we have presented each player who has a parent as a coach or manager with a special certificate, acknowledging the crucial role you play in our club’s success with a message from Simon, Bournemouth Rugby Chairman.
As the Chairman of Bournemouth Rugby, I wanted to take a moment to say a special thank you as a Bournemouth Player who has a parent that is a coach or manager for a Bournemouth Rugby team. We recognise that the commitment that your parent makes to the club is substantial, and we are grateful for their contributions both on and off the field. Their role means that you arrive early and stay late, before and after training, to help set up and clear away.
I know that as the child of coach or manager, you may sometimes feel overlooked or underappreciated during the season. Your role in supporting your parents and our club is just as important as any other, and I want you to know that your efforts do not go unnoticed. Your dedication and commitment is essential to our success as a club, and we are grateful to have you as part of our rugby community.
