For the purpose of this policy the term ‘Bournemouth Rugby’ relates to all sections and teams of the Bournemouth Rugby family.

Policy statement relating to the use of video/photographic images recognises the need to ensure the welfare and safety of all players, members and spectators.

As part of our commitment to ensure the safety of young people we will not permit photographs, video or other images including those taken via mobile phones of anyone taking part in a Bournemouth Rugby organised activity to be taken or used without the consent of the parents/carers and/or player.

We will follow the RFU/RFUW/GBWR guidance for the use of images of players, members and spectators, and take all steps to ensure these images are used solely for the purposes they are intended which is the promotion and celebration of the activities of Bournemouth Rugby.

If you become aware that these images are being used inappropriately you should inform safeguarding@bournemouth-rugby.co.uk

The images may be published on the website https://www.bournemouth-rugby.co.uk, social media and used in publications.

If at any time either the parent/carer or the young person wishes the data to be removed from the website, the club welfare officer should be informed.

By agreeing I declare that:

The name of the person in the photograph(s) is (the “Subject”); I hereby give my consent to the organization for the use of images where the person subject is included therein, taken by said organization for production and use which the said person may appear in websites owned by the organization, publications produced, print advertisments introduced by them;

In giving this consent, I understand and declare that:

I am giving this consent in my own free will, and not under duress or in any form of threat;

That the images containing the subject in this consent shall be held by the organization in accordance and compliance with the GDPR guidelines (the General Data Protection Regulation);

That my information herein, as well as the images to be shared to the recipient shall not be disclosed to any other party without my written consent;

That I hereby allow the use of images where the Subject is included shall belong to the organization for their own disposition;

I hereby agree to waive my rights to any claims to whatever the organization may use of the image;

I may exercise my right to withdraw the use of my image anytime after from the effectivity of this consent. After which, I am given the right to ask to cease the use of my images thereafter.

By agreeing, I am affirming to the provisions mentioned above and the effectivity of this agreement shall commence.
